CLUB TO ATTEND UMBRO TOP RATED SHOWCASE

As communicated by Duncan Wilde, Head Coach and Academy Director of the Toronto Lynx’s Soccer Club:

On behalf of Derek Langley, Head of Youth Recruitment at MANCHESTER UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB and in conjunction with the Toronto Lynx and Global Soccer Network (GSN), I am very pleased to confirm that we will provide representation at your May Showcase event in Ontario.

Our coaching staff of Gary Lewis and Simon Charlton will be present throughout the weekend, in an effort to identify high quality youth players from the event. Opportunity will be given for potential try out at clubs across our World Wide Network including Europe and the UK. We are very much looking forward to introducing ourselves and having the opportunity to evaluate the core talent of Ontario Soccer at the elite youth level.

UMBRO TOP RATED SHOWCASE CHOSEN AS A
SELECTED SHOWCASE TOURNAMENT FOR 2013

The Ontario Soccer Association offered its congratulations, as the Umbro Top Rated Invitational College Showcase Tournament has been chosen as a Selected Showcase Tournament for 2013. The application we sent demonstrated that our showcase is an ideal match for what The OSA is looking to achieve from the 2013 designations.

The primary objective of the Selected Showcase Tournaments is to provide exposure for the top Canadian players to the coaches of Canadian and American Colleges/Universities, Professional Clubs, and National Teams. This includes both players from OSA Clubs and OSA Recognized Non-Club Academies (ORNCA). The following Academies were given the ORNCA status:

2) ANB Academy Futbol
3) Atak Sports Academy
4) Bryst International Football Academy
5) Eurostar Football Academy
6) International FC Academy
7) King David's Stars Academy
8) Maccabi Soccer Club Academy
9) Master's Futbol Academy
10) Power Soccer Academy
11) RVDL Soccer Academy
12) Sigma FC Academy
13) Toronto Skillz Soccer Academy
14) USC Academy

The Umbro Top Rated Showcase Committee would like to extend an invitation to all ORNCA teams that would represent SAAC well to apply to the 2013 showcase.
The Umbro Top Rated Showcase in May, attract the top club teams in Canada. Please note that the Umbro Top Rated Showcase committee will review all applicants and NOT all teams are accepted by simply registering.

The Dixie Soccer Club with Rated Sports are pleased to invite your team to the 2013 Umbro Top Rated Invitational – Soccer College Showcase Tournament. Over the past 8 years, the showcase has helped many student-athletes receive University scholarships and provide them with opportunities to play soccer at the collegiate level, whether in the US or Canada. Our objective is to facilitate efficient communication between athletes and college coaches. We strive for achievement and excellence, with an emphasis on personal development for the student-athlete.

The Umbro Top Rated Showcase is committed to excellence above all else;

In the spring of 2013, many top boys and girls youth soccer clubs from across Canada (ages 15 to 18) and the US will be attending the Umbro Top Rated Invitational – Soccer College Showcase Tournament. The showcase will be held on May 18 - 20 at the Mississauga Iceland and Hershey Centre Fields. Each team will be guaranteed at least three games.

NOTE: Non-residents of Ontario must show proof of all players' liability and health insurance coverage

Appropriate permission to travel must be obtained from:

1. District Association for Ontario teams outside of the Peel Halton Region
2. Provincial Association for all teams outside Ontario
3. National/State Association for all teams outside of Canada

Numerous NCAA / NAIA and CIS college soccer coaches will be attending the showcase once again and if the success of the 2012 Umbro Top Rated Showcase is any indication were 150+ US and Canadian College coaches were in attendance to evaluate the best youth soccer talent this country has to offer, then 2013 looks to be bigger and better than ever. It is our duty to succeed in bringing the top US and Canadian College/University school's to one location for the betterment of the Canadian youth soccer player.
